Blend #1: Japanese Cherry Green Tea (Romantic?)
Blend #1 before I steeped it - notice the whole rose petals |
It's valentine's day, and in honor of the holiday, I've purchased some red roses - but these roses happen to be dried.
Today's blend is a mix of Sencha green tea (whole leaf tea from Japan), essence of cherry, and rose petals. This is a great beginner's tea, because it provides a solid introduction into the virtues of custom blended tea - those details also make it one of my favorite blends.

Flavor: This blend combines the traditional flavors of green tea, with delicious and flavorful notes of cherry and rose. These three simple ingredients combine into a tea that is refreshing, naturally sweet, and a tea that has an aroma you will not believe.
Blend Summary:
Brew color: A golden shade of green
Brew Aroma: Green tea, with fresh notes of cherry and rose - very identifiable and natural
Tasting notes: Naturally smooth and refreshing
Where To Purchase:
I've worked out a deal with the producer of this tea for a special offering. For a limited time, you can purchase four ounces of this tea for just $20. That's enough for dozens of cups. In addition, for just $35, we're offering a package of four ounces of tea, plus a special glass infuser. It's not necessary for making tea, but it's certainly useful.
Suggestions for preparation:
This tea is delicious no matter how you prepare it, but I do provide suggested steep instructions for those who demand perfection:
Suggested Water Temperature: 165 degrees Farenheit/ 73.8 degrees celcius
Suggested Steep Time: 3-4 Minutes
